Frequently asked questions

Find clear answers regarding identification, document completion, legal compliance, and mobile notary scheduling across Atlantic County and surrounding South Jersey areas.

What should I bring to my appointment?

You must bring the complete, unsigned document (all pages included) and an acceptable, unexpired, government-issued photo ID such as a state driver's license, non-driver ID card, or passport.

Do all signers need to appear in person?

Yes. Under New Jersey notary law, every individual signing the document must personally appear before the notary at the time of the notarization and sign willingly.

Can the notary help me choose the right notarial certificate?

No. By New Jersey law, notaries are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice, prepare forms, or determine which type of notarization (such as an acknowledgment or jurat) your document requires. Please consult an attorney or the issuing agency.

Can I sign my documents before meeting the notary?

No. Do not sign or date your document ahead of time. Documents that require an oath or affirmation (such as affidavits) must be signed directly in the notary’s presence.

Where are appointments held?

Appointments are available throughout Atlantic County and South Jersey. We provide both mobile visits to your home, workplace, or healthcare facility, as well as office appointments by request.

What documents can be notarized?

We notarize eligible documents including affidavits, acknowledgments, powers of attorney, real estate forms, and personal contracts, provided they meet legal notarization criteria.

What if my document has blank spaces?

Documents must be complete prior to notarization. All blanks, missing details, or unfilled sections must be completed before signing, as a notary cannot certify an incomplete form.

How do travel fees and service pricing work?

Notary service fees and travel rates vary based on location and timing in accordance with New Jersey law. You can explore details on our pricing & fees page before booking.
